Reinke & Schomann, Inc. was chosen to fabricate this custom twin screw feeder profiled below, for a customer in the baking industry. This special feeder was a challenging design, ideal for our unique experience and capabilities. Utilizing our engineering services, a design was agreed upon that fit the requirements of the customer. Our advanced in-house machining equipment was employed to form stainless steel into the specified contours and dimensions, with in-process inspections and testing carried out to ensure dimensional accuracy. The fit of the screws was also extensively checked in the hopper, to verify there would be no interference inside of the housing.
Overall dimensions of the twin screw feeder were 72″ x 40″ x 36″, completed to customer specifications after a 12 week turnaround time and shipped to the customer in Milwaukee, WI.
